KitchenAid Slow Cooker Has Mixed Reviews
With 38 five star ratings, many people love the KitchenAid 7 quart slow cooker. However, there are also 36 one star ratings.
The advantages of the slow cooker are that it is powerful and large with 400 Watts power and 7 quart capacity. It also has a programmable and digital timer and auto, high, low, buffet and keep warm temperature modes (more modes than most other slow cookers.)
The disadvantages are that many people are reporting their pot’s cracked within the first couple of uses. To me, that points directly at either rough shipping and handling or manufacturing material flaw. Either way it is not a good sign for KitchenAid. Also, the unit is decently expensive at $110 or so.
I personally believe that the Breville slow cooker is a better option for a similar price, size and style.
